Makisha, My Name is Charles, And like you I’m a Classic Temptations Fan, you see I was born listening to the Temps in the early 60’s. I‘m also collecting live video performances from the early 60’s to the early 70’s, I must admit the early live performances are very hard to find, but I currently have all the Ed Sullivan Show performances. Try searching (Ebay) I found the Live TCB Performance with the Supremes there. Be aware that you have to bid for them on Ebay, but the prices for such classics are pretty reasonable, and worth it.

I read the Book that Otis written, and I also have the Movie, that Otis help put together. I hear a lot of angry people complain about what really happen between the group during the 60's when the classic 5 were together, (Eddie, Otis, David, Paul, and Melvin) and people say that the Book, and the Movie really didn't tell the truth. Some People say that Otis waited until they all passed away so he could tell only his side of the story which I believe is B/S. Listen People, It doesn't matter what we all think,,, but Otis was there,, and knew them all like brother's. What ever happen between them is in the past, but the Beautiful 5 Voices that God put together from 1962 to 1971 lives on forever. Whatever problems they had,, you couldn't hear it in the songs such as (Your My Everything / My Girl / Beauty only Skin Deep / I could Never Love Another / Just My Imagination/ or Since I Lost My Baby. Nor did you see it in the performances. So people,, let's not dwell on what happen outside of the Studio or Stage, but enjoy the songs and performances they have given us through the years.

I have been a Tempt fan for 37 years,love myself some Paul,the movie and the book are Otis story,he can say whatever he want,the others are gone.There was nothing bad about Otis and Melvin. Mel, have children with different last names and Otis according to his book,went to bed with a lot of women.Birth control was not that great in the sixties.Otis was not that nice to the guys,as far as he was concern it was his group.Do as I say or leave attitude.You can get VHS of them performing on E-bay,you have to bid. Ihave them all even Eddie and David in there solo career. Otis have a new book coming out next month,maybe this time he will tell the truth.When you watch the videos of the Classic Five, Eddie,Melvin and Otis was not capture,as far as there performance. Otis could not dance,he has been messing up since 1965,Eddie was so KOOL,Terron was not,Mel, enjoyed what he was doing,the actor didn't show that.Paul and David actors was on the money.They did a wonderful job.Otis need to stop,because there will never be another group like Paul,David,Eddie and Melvin forget Otis.

Thank God I found this Website, I been a Classic Tempts Fan all my 39 years. I admit, it took some time for me to get used to the group's third lead singer Dennis Edwards, but after hearing (Run away Child) he won me over, and of course with all due respect to the current first tenor, but no one and I due mean no one will ever replace the voice of The late great Eddie K. Otis,, all hats off to you my man for being the very strengh of the Classic 5. My one Question is,,, is there anyway to get any live vidio performance's from the Classic 5 in concert from the late 60's and early 70's ????? I have the live audio CD's but it would be a blessing to see you guys.

MAKE THOUSANDS WITH ONLY 6 BUCKS!!! THIS IS NOT A SCAM!!! Original post: A while back, I was browsing these newsgroups, just like you are now, and came across an article similar to this that said you could make thousands of CASH within weeks with only an initial investment of $6.00 plus stamps! Hi, I really enjoy your music and I love the group. I'm a 27 year old with 2 small children ( ages: 5 & 7 ) They really enjoy the music and the movie. Everytime we get into the car I have to play the temptations cd and they will watch the movie in their room instead of cartoons. My father is also a big fan and has always said that he was suppose to be in the group.( ha,ha) He said he has been a temptation all his life. My daughter went to school and told her class that her grandfather was a temptation. I know that you guys have been to charlotte,NC but it would be a great joy for my daughter to talk to Otis for her birthday on October 13th. She don't understand yet that the guys in the movie is not the original group singing all the old songs she like. So a picture from the movie with their autograph and a picture of othis would be great! I love you guys..May God Continue to Bless You All

The Temptations are my favorite group of all time. I own the Video made for TV and watch it often. I was in Las Vegas in either 1989 or 1990, can't remember when, but you all were as great as ever.
